Our commitment to protecting your data and privacy

Software Shipping LLC (doing business as Software Shipping Co.) ("we," "our," "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our application(s), including AI Task Management, through the Zendesk Marketplace or other channels.
By using our applications, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Ticket metadata ID values would not be meaningful without authorized Zendesk access. Organization names associated with tickets are only stored instead of ID for performance reasons.
We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information (PII). In fact, our AI model is explicitly instructed not to store any PII, account information, or payment information. Users are responsible for any PII manually entered into tasks or tickets.
Our applications are not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately. Contact us at apps@softwareshipping.co if you believe we have collected such data.
We use collected data to provide, maintain, improve, and secure our applications, and to support app functionality.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Data is only exposed to OpenAI, AWS, and the database for purposes of app functionality, maintenance, and optimization. However, data may also be disclosed as required by law.
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, authentication, and access controls, to protect your data. Data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) to restrict access by Zendesk instance.
API tokens and secrets are securely stored and never exposed in the client.
We employ domain whitelisting, webhook signing, and other protections to prevent unauthorized access.
We retain Zendesk ticket metadata and task data indefinitely to provide our services or comply with legal obligations. Task data not connected with tickets is deleted periodically. Data associated with instances that have uninstalled the app is deleted after 1 month of inactivity and up to 12 months later, unless otherwise required. You may request deletion of your data sooner by contacting apps@softwareshipping.co
Our applications use Zendesk, Supabase, AWS, and OpenAI for hosting, database, and AI functionality. These providers are bound by data processing agreements to protect your information in compliance with applicable laws. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, for app functionality. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved mechanisms to ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable laws. By using our applications, you consent to such transfers.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring data entered into our applications complies with their organization’s policies and applicable laws. Do not enter sensitive information, including personally identifiable information (PII), into task inputs, ticket comments, or ticket metadata used by the app. We are not liable for any PII or sensitive data users choose to enter
This Privacy Policy complies with the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable laws. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to opt out of data sharing. To exercise these rights, contact us at apps@softwareshipping.co. We will respond within 45 days, as required by law.
Under the Colorado Privacy Act, you may opt out of automated decision-making or profiling, such as automatic task capture, by disabling this feature in the app settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal or operational changes. We will notify users of material changes via the application, email, or other means at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
